  Reproductive rights being erased? No - just unborn foetuses. No one is stopping women from reproducing.
  

  And don't women already have control over their bodies?

  They can legally choose to use contraceptives to prevent pregnancy, and they can legally choose to avoid sex. Both scenarios assign them control over their bodies.

  Never knew missing meetings was such a big deal

  i do bible study and attend meetings.

  ”well i was away and i was going to attend in that city”.

  i did everything right, i told my bible study conductors in advance and genuinely i wanted to see another hall.

  The deeper you get into any toxic situation, the more traumatic it will be to escape from it.

  Get out ASAP and save yourself a whole lot of grief. Just tell your conductors that you're temporarily stopping the study because you have private & personal issues which you have to deal with, and that you'll call them when you've resolved them. If they try to interrogate you, just say, "As I said, the issues are private & personal, but I will contact you when I'm ready."

  Then do research and ask questions - here and elsewhere.

  Does any other religion try to scare the living daylights out of their adherents & kids the way this cult does?

  polidoro, noted for his appearance in the supreme court case of watchtower versus stratton ohio, now represents watch tower of pennsylvania in their efforts to flush out the inside leak sources of documents, videos and images.. these documents and other sensitive information have been leaked to the public and reposted by dozens of individuals since 2017. watch tower is deeply concerned about the internal moles leaking this information, since much of it has been used by whistleblowers to reveal watch tower's private internal policies and procedures.. included in the leaks are publisher id and records management materials which reveal the extent of jehovah's witness data collection and management prodedures, including the destruction of documents.. jehovah's witnesses have come under intense scrutiny for their failure to report child abuse across the globe, not only in mandatory reporting states, but in every location where clergy members are not required to report.. the dangerous policies of the jehovah's witness organization have resulted in a significant movement among current and former members to expose the organization and force transparency.. current members with high-level access to watch tower documents have risked expulsion and legal recourse for their efforts.. the electronic frontier foundation's attorney alex moss represented the unidentified darkspilver redditor in defense of the motion to quash watch tower's subpoena to unmask his identity.. listen closely as both sides make their case, and the judge seeks to understand the issues involved.. freedom of speech versus alleged copyright infringement- you be the judge.

  I agree with those on REDDIT who reason that Darkspilver may be a Bethelite in the UK.

  If Polidoro and the WTBTS think the same, then it would explain why the cult is doing whatever it takes & costs to nail him - despite submitting (IMO) an illegitimate defence for "copyright infringement.".

  They judge pointed out that there was no copyright infringement of a confidential letter - because it hadn't been copyrighted!

  The org is trying to terrorise anyone/everyone into not publicising on the internet any segments of WT material which shames them.

  on pages 27 & 28 of the august 2019 study watchtower, it perverts the translation of scriptures yet again, in order to drum it into jw's minds that they have to work for their salvation.

  “on the evening before his death, jesus told his disciples: “exercise faith in god; exercise faith also in me.” (john 14:1).

  according to strong's lexicon, the greek word pisteuō is translated thus - “to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in, of the thing believed, to credit, have confidence.”.

  "Many translations use reverence or similar."

  That makes them as untrustworthy as the RNWT at translating the Greek word phobos.

  It's nice to see that virtually every translation - except RNWT & Derby - renders Revelation 5:10 thus, "You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth." (not over or above)

  At least they got that right! Even then, "ruling over" doesn't translate as ruling from a location up in the sky.

  Queen Elizabeth rules over the UK, but she doesn't do it from a giant drone or spaceship.

  JW's - check out Rev. 5:10 in the original Greek in your Interlinear Translation, then look at the diagram inside the hard cover.

  Exactly where are the org's kings princes/priests going to serve? (read Psalm 45:16)
